Beachfront campsite at Pasakon Beach

Camping & Glamping

Beachfront Camping in Papar, Sabah

A beachfront campsite just 25 km from Kota Kinabalu - glamping lots, picnic huts and group huts with toilets, a prayer room, a cafe, clean water and electricity. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to sunrise over the South China Sea.

Why camp at Pasakon Beach?

Pasakon Beach began in 2019 as a recreation and camping site in Kg. Beringgis, Papar, before growing to include chalets, a cafรฉ and other facilities. The campsite sits right on Pantai Beringgis: a wide stretch of beach, coral reef exposed at low tide, and sunsets over the South China Sea - only about 25 km from Kota Kinabalu city centre and 20 km from KKIA.

The site is run by Koperasi Pelancongan Komuniti Kg. Beringgis Papar Berhad (PASAKON), a community cooperative established in April 2021 and recognised with the Desa Lestari Award 2022. Every booking supports the local community directly.
